No, the program doesn't get confused.
For me that's mostly true when things are simple and you get it right
the first time. I end up doing things like extracting a section and
putting it into a definition if I will use it more than once. If that
section doesn't contain the last time value something is temporarily
broken. I think it's a good thing to reiterate the time value at
strategic places like the beginning of source lines. I always set the
first time value of a tuplet and I use tupletSpannerDuration if I have a
series of similar tuplets.
