Thank you both Yoshi and Hans. I've often seen the term Bezier curves in various fields but never had any apparent use for them. So today was about learning to reshape \laissezVibrer ties. While it's not yet the most beautiful slur you'll ever see, it's more than adequate for my purposes. Thanks again, gents. (Additional thanks to various sources that "explained" Bezier curves.
