I use MXLinux based on Debian (like the *ubuntu family) and both FB and LP are in the main Debian repositories. That said, you can also get both via flatpak.
But note that the most recent versions of both are most likely not in those repositories, but can be manually downloaded and installed from both the FB and LP websites.
