I seem not to have much luck with Lilypond on my new machine (AMD64)! I've installed the Debian package for version 2.4.5 but the lilypond program doesn't work correctly (see my previous post about "programming error"). As Matt's suggestion didn't improve the situation, I resorted to try and install the "autopackage" for version 2.6. [By the way, is support for Debian packaging definitely dropped?] Unfortunately, here is how the install session ended: ......................................................................... /dev/shm/autopackage.257948774/meta/@lilypond.org/lilypond:2.6.0/apkg-downloader: line 588: autopackage/libexec/autosu-gtk: No such file or directory The autopackage support code could not be installed. It can be manually downloaded and installed by running the installation script located in the downloaded archive. What am I supposed to do now?
