It's much easier to provide hints on what could be wrong if you
send the output of
lilypond --verbose clarinet.ly
to the mailing list. Also, I hope you have searched the mailing
list archives (don't forget the archive for bug-lilypond), I wouldn't
be surprised if the issue has already appeared before.

And the "clarinet.ps" file contains the title (in an unscaled typewriter font)
of the piece but no notes.
[The problem shows up in Debian GNU/Linux on AMD64, while on the
other machine, also Debian but on i386, it's OK.]
Does someone has a hint on what's going wrong?
