What kind of errors generate a PDF with -1 added?  i.e. file.ly 
generates file-1.pdf .

No errors appear when Lily generates the PDF.  Usually when I get 
file-1.pdf there are error message(s) and I fix the problem and don't 
get another file-1.pdf .  Now I have a case where I continually get them 
for a certain project.
