Hello, That's the point of proportional notation: to have the same space after notes of the same duration (so after the last note as well). If you want to reduce the space after the last note you could trick/cheat by multiplying its value. <c' e' g'>4 <e' g' c''> <g' c'' e''>4*1/2 \bar "|."
