instrument name bug 2.5.24

Instrument names are still missing from 2.5.24 (see regression tests, 
e.g.). I'm stuck with 2.5.22 until it is fixed. I did not see this on 
Han-Wen's list of things to fix prior to 2.6.

(OS 10.3.9 and no dynamics font problems!)
