This has nothing to do with glissando, but with your use of cadenza.
You start it mid-measure, meaning the bar is never filled. Thus the
MMR starts mid-measure as well.

If you really want to keep the cadenza, tell te MMR to start at zero
measurePosition:

   \time 3/4
   \override Glissando.style = #'zigzag
   c4 c
   \cadenzaOn
   c4\glissando
   \hideNotes
   c,,4
   \unHideNotes
   \cadenzaOff

Imho better, use scaled durations:
