It's not only GUB (which is still *written* in Python2 for 2.21.0), but also the scripts used during build. So even if you compiled the source tarball (outside of GUB), you'd need Python2. But no, this doesn't affect the deb-package which should only pull in the runtime dependencies (for the scripts). Jonas
