What I am imagining is the system like the following, where you "stitch" together your own symbol from a set like this: http://www.jazzfont.com/noframes/cordchar.htm (Sorry, poor res. I'll see if I can find something better.) (Oh, on a tangent, jazz articulations: http://www.jazzfont.com/noframes/jazzchar.htm ) That's a very poor image, I'll try to find something better. But the idea is that instead of Lilypond dictating "oh, you have this chord, I will typeset it for you in style x, y, or z", you instead say, "I want a C, with the MAJ symbol as a superscript/subscript, with numbers going up like this" etc. Ah. http://www.mimes.com/flash/fonts/fonts/Jazzcord.TTF http://student.hivolda.no/bakkek/Transport/FONTS/JazzCord.TTF These fonts seem to contain all the symbols that lilypond could use. (I'm not picky about font _style_, as long as they're reasonably.done and sans-serif.) Thank you. _______________________________________________ lilypond-user mailing list lilypond-user@gnu.org http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/lilypond-user
