Yeah. Somebody considered a good idea to override the defaults and enable experimental Guile-2 support. So you are being part of an experiment. Instead of having the touted 10% speed advantage of Gentoo, that slows down your version of LilyPond by about 400%. It also gives you some pretty bad bugs.
