I'll chip in, and let you know in a private mail how much... I have type-set scores for my choir with Lilypond, using the Midi output to generate CDs and MP3s so ppl can study at home, when they don't play an instrument themselves. Having an easy way to generate different mixes for the different voices would be a nice option to have (+6dB sopranos, -6dB the other voices, so that the sopranos can hear their voice 'over' the other voices).
