I'm using an SSD with Frescobaldi too.
Do you really think that the brief temp writing of Frescobaldi
(pre-saving the file before it's given an actual name) is going to
seriously degrade the SSD in short time?
I really don't think that sounds too likely but...if you are concerned:
1) see attached photos: I would just check that box to have Frescobaldi
save locally to a *named *file (thus avoiding a temp file creation) and
2) change the path to a non-SSD drive for default saving of normal named
files (on Window, pick a non-C drive, for example, assuming your OS is
the SSD)
