You are wrong. SuSE 9.2 ships with LilyPond 2.2.6 *on the DVD* (and the RPMs will be put on their ftp server if they are not there already, I presume). However, LilyPond is not on the SuSE 9.2 CD-ROMs, see <URL:http://support.novell.com/products/tips/10012.html>.
