Well, at least there are far more mean little details to be observed than I
had expected, so it won't make much difference implementing a "proper"
solution using an appropriate sub property.

When driving through "Friederieke" today, I was thinking of (abs ...), too,
but on the other hand - please don't beat me - give it a try and see what
happens if you *set StaffSymbol.staff-space to #-1*.
