Hi all,
I've come across a situation where I need different barlines before and
after a line break, and I don't know how to achieve that.
The situation is that I have a time signature change and the beginning
of a repeat happening at a line break. According to the edition I'm
copying from and consistent with what Gould says I want to print a
double barline before the new time signature at the end of the first
line, but LilyPond prints a single barline instead. You can see that in
the two attached images.
If I manually use \bar "||" before the time signature the repeat barline
is removed, so that is obviously not a viable approach. I think I'd
rather have to override some properties of the barline but don't know
which. The information on
http://lilypond.org/doc/v2.19/Documentation/notation/visibility-of-objects#using-break_002dvisibility
are not helpful, and looking through the IR entries for barlines and key
signatures doesn't give me further hints.
So is there any proper way to have printed the following:
end-of-line: double barline - time signature
new-line: clef - key - time - repeat barline
Thanks
Urs
