Hi List, I have a piece where I would like to have section titles, like:
I. Risoluto II. Libero III. Giocoso etc. I've been using \mark to insert these into the score, but that aligns the text centered on the barline, thus with a significant portion of the text lying over the preceding measure. I'd like them instead to be left-aligned to the barline, so that they rest entirely over the new section. Is there a better way to do this? Should I just use \tempo instead? I wanted these section titles formatted differently than the tempo indications (i.e., all-caps and bold and a bit larger than the tempo markings). Is it better just to have these set manually using \markup with \tempo? Cheers, A
