The problem is coloring the ledger-lines or the staff-symbol itself. Restricting colors to certain parts of them will need the usage of start/stopStaff, which triggers issue 3949. If coloring staff-symbol or ledgers is not desired sinply delete that part from the LSR-snippet, the lilyblog-code doesn't cater about it at all. If staff/ledgers need to be colored as well delete both occurences of \once\hide Staff.BarLine \bar "|" from the LSR-function and insert them manually where needed. I doubt there will be a fix or workaround, while you hold your breathe for it ...
