Hi all, I was wondering why lyrics aren't subdivided into measures to make it easier to keep track of what lyrics fit what notes?
I have a feeling that there must be a reason, because this is a convention that holds true for many music notation systems, including Finale. Is there therefore a strong reason NOT to include measures in lyrics blocks, or is it just a convention?
