Can I compile lilypond on Ubuntu? I've read http://lilypond.org/doc/v2.19/Documentation/contributor/requirements-for-compiling-lilypond#ubuntu But if you already know that it won't work because of XYZ (guile, dependencies, ...), I would be happy to know before.
