Timidity does screen the lyrics when run in a terminal, but there are no spaces between the words in a LilyPond-generated midi file. If you are using a different player, try changing the extension from .mid or .midi to ".KAR" or ".kar". It probably won't work, but it's worth a try. daveA -- The "information economy" is a fantasy.
