Looks like you are probably using 2.18.2. I never liked its default dashed
curve design either, FWIW. I have to believe it looked the way it did for a
good reason. However, what you are asking for is now the default look in
recent versions (not sure when this was corrected, but I am seeing this in
2.19.36), so I'd upgrade--very few reasons not, IMO.
Kudos to the incredible developers on this one!
