This is designed in the original to represent where the slash crosses the initial stem as a fraction of the stem's length. From visual inspection, it appears that you have it set to halfway along the stem in the original in every case. The idea--surely not ideal--is that it would need to be adjusted on a case-by-case basis. It appears to have a different function in your example. --David
