using the snippet given you would change the order and add the correct position number
eg ((5 3) (5 5) becomes ((5 3) (5 2 5) and the 5 is the new scale position -- so the root on 3rd fret (c) is before the second (b) % cpenta= \markup\scale-diagramm #'((5 3) (5 5) (4 3) (4 5) (3 2) % (3 5) (2 3) (2 6) (1 3) (1 5) (1 8)) #5 #1.7 % becomes cpenta=\markup\scale-diagramm #'((5 3) (5 2 5) (5 5 2) (4 3 3) (4 5 4) (3 5) (3 2 5) (2 3 2) (2 6 3) (1 3 4) (1 8) (1 5 5)) #5 #1.7 HTH Stephen
