You can set the font size
\set fontSize = -2 % 2 1 0 -1 -2 -3, other values possible
or use shortcuts that do the same thing.
\tiny % \huge \large \normalsize \small \tiny \teeny
In LilyPond versions above 2.19.something there is the more advanced
command \magnifyMusic that scales also stem lengths, beam thicknesses
and some other things.
\magnifyMusic #(magstep -2) { here comes the music }
% magstep -2 is the same factor as fontSize = -2, i. e. 2^(-2/6)
