Federico, Thank you for your reply. The installation of Lilypond is not new. The error message appears sporadically. It may appear three times in a row during a session and then the file compiles. This cycle repeats throughout the session.

Few days ago I had the same problem, I think, while trying last lilypond on windows. It happened only the first time I run lilypond and it took a lot to compile a simple file.
