At long last writesly, a python script that takes parts off the disk and builds a sly file with them, using the header as a guide. In other words, it reverses what sly does.
Sly has been simplified. The only special thing you put in your notes data is the field separator, which sly gets from the first two bytes of the header. A comment field, which will be written to all files unless it is empty, is new. You can write successive fields to the same file now, which amounts to having fields with multiple lines. Header example: !! my.sly dummy.ly !! clar.ly tpt.ly !! Writesly could get the parts off disk and write a sly file like this example: !! my.sly dummy.ly !! clar.ly tpt.ly !!!! dummy stuff !! clar notes % more clar notes % more clar notes yet tpt notes !! dummy stuff !! clar notes tpt notes !! dummy stuff !! clar notes tpt notes %comment!! dummy stuff !! clar notes tpt notes clar.ly would look like this: clar notes % more clar notes % more clar notes yet clar notes clar notes %comment clar notes Get it at: http://www.openguitar.com/readaboutsly.html -- Paying more at the gas pump?
