I think you have made a good point, although this is not exactly what you meant. \cresc, \endcresc = cresc.- - - - \decresc, \enddecresc = decresc.- - - \dim, \enddim = dim.- - - \crescmark, \endcrescmark = < \dimmark | \decrescmark, \enddimmark | \enddecrescmark = > I don't like \crescmark too much either, but IMHO something or this sort is a lot more logical and intuitive than what is being done now. \cpin, \endcpin? \dpin, \enddpin?
