Ok, but remember that doing work in pfaedit is not the way to go.
It's allright to play with pfaedit to see what must be done, but
sources are in metafont; changes in the font layout should be done in
metafont.

Well, that's what I'm not sure about.  I think (hope) that just moving
chacacters out of the control-character range would be enough.
