the other problem i'm running in to is that i'm getting lots of warnings regarding bar-check failures at -3/4 and -1/4 ... (you can check this with the file http://homepage.uibk.ac.at/~c703284/chorals.ly). the bars are all ok, and if i generate the parts 1 by 1 (not in score) then the bar-check warnings are gone.
The link to chorals.ly doesn't work at the moment, so it's hard to answer your questions.
