now i am wondering if there is any way to make the broken beam follow the angle it would have taken if unbroken (other than manually tweaking them). i have a sequence of identical motives, some of which break over lines; i would like them to all follow the same contour for visual clarity. currently, each half of the broken-beam motive sets the beam angle for only the subgroup of notes in the partial beam.
