I can see that you are using a really good one! :-) > The question is: which hurts more. We could probably afford the > bandwidth. (I did not follow the thread -- maybe this has been discussed before?) Of course, if Lilypond mailing lists had a little less SPAM, maybe the above problem might be a bit less pressing. The SPAM filters I use are biting at the mail directly sent to me. I consider that each mailing list I'm subscribed to should be eliminating SPAM at its end, before broadcasting the mail it receives, and my own SPAM filters should be instructed to just let pass what those lists decided to broadcast. It works well on average, but only for a few lists, and Lilypond related lists among them, I have to tell my filters to not trust the list decision, and rather add their own extra-layers of filtering. This is slightly unfortunate. Lilypond mailing lists should ideally do a better job at eliminating SPAM. If we wait after the proper legislation to pop up at a planetary level, we are going to suffer a lot and for long! :-) -- François Pinard http://www.iro.umontreal.ca/~pinard _______________________________________________ Lilypond-user mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/lilypond-user
