When I receive a message from this mailing list, often I hit reply and answer the message, to find out later that my reply only has been sent to the private mail address of the sender of the original message which I'm replying to. This poor person then has to send me an e-mail asking me to keep the discussion in the mailing list. And I have then to resend the message to the mailing list itself. This I think is waste of time and energy and could be avoided by setting the mailing list parameters (if possible) such that, when replying, the reply is sent to the mailing list itself, not to the original sender.
Wouldn't it be as simple as letting the mailing list server insert something like X-Reply-to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] or something like that into the header of the forwarded mails? It's not that I (and several other list members) am too lazy to change the header, but sometimes (or more often than not :) I simply forget to do this. arie _______________________________________________ Lilypond-user mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/lilypond-user
