As far as I know this works only using \property Voice.autoBeaming = ##f (1.6.10, I don't know if the syntax is right for 1.7.x too) Then you can set the beaming as you want. You cannot use [] to tell lily that there shouldn't be beaming on a single note. Regards Jan Kohnert
