Arggg! I tried: "``God"8 is8 "king'';"4
as well as: "\"God"8 is8 "king\";"4 neither of them print any quote marks. I end up with: God is king; instead of this: "God is king;" I'm using version 1.6.8 out of cygwin. Am I not doing this right? Thanks for all the help. -jeff --- Laura Conrad <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > >>>>> "Jeff" == Jeff Ousley <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > writes: > > Jeff> This did not produce any quotes at all. > Any other > Jeff> ideas? > > You have to enclose the "word" in double quotes, and > then escape the > quote with a backslash: > > "\"God" is "King\"" > > Don't ask me why. > > -- > Laura (mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] , > http://www.laymusic.org/ ) > (617) 661-8097 fax: (801) 365-6574 > 233 Broadway, Cambridge, MA 02139 > > __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
