Yes, this is a remaining problem about the cygwin installation. Since the generated fonts end up in separate directories for each user, it's hard to remove them automatically in the installation scripts.
However, Colin used RedHat where this shouldn't be a problem. Also, the command 'kpsewhich feta20.pk' will always tell you where the files are located. /Mats > I had once this problem because my Lilypond setup (using cygwin) causes > the generated fonts to be put in a subdirectory of my working directory > (i.e. .../scores/dpi600).
