I believe that Mandrake 8.0 is based on Redhat 7.x. I don't know how
Mandrake got one version number ahead. While I am sure there are other
differences, someone mentioned that the only real difference between
Mandrake and RedHat is that Mandrake compiles to i586, while RedHat
compiles to i386...
