Please don't take offense. I've learned a lot from your posts to the list
over the years. Thank you for them.

The substantive point here is that we have an opportunity to de-clutter the
entrypoint to the NR docs, without writing any code.

All we have to do is remove Appendix D, and rename Appendix E as just
"Index," the way that Mats points out.
