So "Wednesday or Thursday" didn't happen (too busy), but the binaries
(as well as the source code) are now available from GitLab:
https://gitlab.com/lilypond/lilypond/-/packages/27483288

I tested the binaries on my end, as best as I could, and they seem to
work well. Give them a try if you want on your end (bonus points for
testing on macOS, I can only check on the same machine that also built
the binaries, which might hide some problems). Unless I hear something
really terrible before tomorrow, I will officially announce the release
then.
