I looked into the generated archives, and apparently, the size substitution fails for the "big page" manuals in the online documentation (that the script generates as lilypond-2.25.7-webdoc.tar.xz), but works for the offline one (lilypond-2.25.7-documentation.tar.xz). In other words, I expect that make WEB_TARGETS=online doc will reproduce the problem. Jonas, could this be related to your recent changes in this area? (FWIW, I intend to proceed with the release nevertheless.)
