Hm yes, I never thought about that use case.

Now, \postscript is kind of bad in the first place, but an EPS file
with /Helvetica 15 selectfont is perfectly valid. Thus, shouldn't
we stop trimming Ghostscript in this way?
Yes, we likely have to. I'll see how much bigger that actually is, or
if we can potentially still include the C059 fonts only once.
