I'd recommend using \temporary\override in to mimic \once behaviour more closely:
\version "2.23.5" \layout { \override DoublePercentRepeat.slope = 2 } { \repeat percent 2 { e'2 e' e' e' } \override DoublePercentRepeat.slope = #.3 \repeat percent 2 { e'2 e' e' e' } \revert DoublePercentRepeat.slope \repeat percent 2 { e'2 e' e' e' } } { \repeat percent 2 { e'2 e' e' e' } \temporary\override DoublePercentRepeat.slope = #.3 \repeat percent 2 { e'2 e' e' e' } \revert DoublePercentRepeat.slope \repeat percent 2 { e'2 e' e' e' } } Lukas
