This must be the trouble. Looks like the contributor's guide needs
to be updated to point to both LilyDev5 and LilyDev4 and explain why
to use one or the other. Currently it just points to the latest
(LilyDev5).
Charles, once you get your dev environment set up, updating the
contributor's guide would make a good "first bug" if you'd like to
get familiar with the process. (Changes to the docs and website work
the same way as patches to the source code.)
I've now added to the warning a link to the 4.1 release.
If we want to be safe we can replace the link to latest release with
the link to all releases:
