This is a minor patch sent to the developer list since my upload.py (part of git-cl) stopped working in the course of updating Ubuntu to version 16.04. It seems to be related with urllib2/urllib3 but so far I have found no information making it easy for me to get this back to working.
upload.py itself in the official repository is unchanged in comparison to our git-cl packages version. I have no idea whether changes are upcoming soon. This ptch here is a fairly trivial one. It should be possible to apply it by calling "git am" on the respective mail.
