Hi Mike, Colin, LilyPond fellows, I'm sorry for this "one-year-later" intervention about this issue. http://code.google.com/p/lilypond/issues/detail?id=1798
A recent reply I did to Federico made me think about the fact that, in 4/4 time signature, full measure rests take very little horizontal space (well, *too little* actually, since it takes less horizontal space than a whole note). Then I remembered I already submitted a bug report about this but could not find it in the open issue. Finally I found it is closed/verified, but after I double-checked, while I reckon issue #1798 is indeed verified in 3/4 time (Reinhold's example, used by Colin to verify the issue), it is not the case in 4/4 time, as can be seen when compiling the code I submitted when I originally reported this issue (attached again here, with output from current 2.17.10 version), where FMR take more horizontal space than with 2.15.7, but still less than a whole note! Could you make full measure rests take as much horizontal space as the equivalent note for every measure/FMR duration? Thanks in advance. Cheers, Xavier -- Xavier Scheuer <x.sche...@gmail.com>
