I don't see the point of having a separate list.  If you don't know
what music functions are, and therefore are not qualified to
participate in the discussion, you could simply not participate in it?

I personally am not inclined to subscribe to yet another list. Also,
finding the discussion later on will be easier if it happens on
lilypond-devel.
