then WTF is fixcc.py ?!  (the original one, pre-astyle)
LilyPond has a *huge* history of deviating from GNU standards.

I'm sorry, I thought this was a project to create aesthetically
beautiful notation.  Not an "emacs is awesome and let's force
everybody to use my favorite text editor" project.
