I'd really rather that you helped out with programming (or at least testing+reviewing patches) and critical doc issues... if we all focused on that, there's a real possibility of having the first release candidate in August, with the actual release in Sep. On the other hand, it's been so long already, so there's no real harm in adding a few more weeks. I'm not sensing much urgency from people, so you might as well start a new large task.
