Actually, by extending the engraver a little bit it should be possible. I have 
had that on my list for quite some time...

MusicXML has a <voice> subelement of <note> etc., so this could carry over 
more or less 1:1 to MusicXML, should anyone ever feel tempted to write 
MusicXML export.
